With the world still dealing with COVID issues, conferences and WordCamps are still going virtual. On the one hand, it allows everyone to attend something they may not have previously. On the other hand, we miss out on the opportunity to go to places like Bolivia, Japan, and Europe.
Hopefully, we can begin attending in-person events by 2022.
This week, I learned that one conference in the digital space is planning to return to an in-person meeting by November. This may be a good sign for the future.
Regardless, we have several conferences and WordCamps coming in the next few months that can be attended from your own office chair. In a time where we can’t meet in person, this has been a welcome alternative.
Today we will highlight three upcoming summits and a few WordCamps that all take place between now and August.
Monetize Livestreaming Now™ Virtual Summit
May 15, 2021
Monetize Livestream Now ™ is a live streaming conference that takes place Saturday, May 15. Hosts are Ross Brand and Winnie Sun.
Several speakers will be on hand to talk about topics such as hosting shows, virtual summits, selling courses and memberships, monetization strategies, consulting, and much, much more.
“Convert your knowledge, skills and audience into dollars. Our speakers share how they’re monetizing livestreaming so you can too.” Summit website
The summit lasts half a day with quick-hitting sessions. Tickets are free.
If livestreaming is part of your digital marketing strategy, attending the sessions at this summit might be a bonus for you.
There is a whole world of live streaming that business owners and entrepreneurs are taking advantage of, and this summit is a great way to learn more.

Wrapping it up
I have only been to one WordCamp. I was hoping to go to a different one last year, but a worldwide pandemic messed that up.
There are a few conferences I would like to attend outside the WordPress space as well. Perhaps in the next couple of years, we will be back to in-person events. As Nathan Wrigley mentioned in the article last week, we may see a livestreaming track in the future.
